Dance On A Volcano is a community of musicians and technicians who faithfully re-enact Phil Collins-era Genesis concerts.

Martin Levac, ex-drummer for The Musical Box and ex-singer/drummer for Turn It On Again, impersonates Phil Collins like no other and has managed to surround himself with the best possible musicians and technicians to recreate the magic of Genesis concerts.

After Peter Gabriel's departure in 1975, Phil Collins became lead singer from Trick of the Tail (1976) to We can't dance (1992). Phil Collins sang on a total of 8 Genesis records and did 9 world tours.

In 1982, between the Abacab and Mama tours, Genesis proceeded with the Encore Tour and recorded Three Sides Live. This is the concert Dance On A Volcano recreates as of 2008.

«Martin Levac plays Phil Collins as good as Robert Downey Jr. played Charlie Chaplin»
Ronnie Caryl (guitarist with P.Collins)

«Sitting in the audience at the Theatre Outremont in Montreal watching "Dance On A Volcano" perform the 1982 Genesis Three Sides Live tour was a very nostalgic experience. I enjoyed it completely! All of the musicians did a excellent job recreating the Genesis sound. Martin Levac's portrayal of Phil Collins is amazing. Not only did his singing voice sound like Phil, but his gestures, mannerisms, and speech pattern were totally convincing. "Dance On A Volcano" is the best tribute band I've seen!»
Daryl Stuermer (Genesis and Phil Collins guitarist)

''Martin caught ALL of my personal nuances, vocally and drumming wise... it reminded me that I was good !!!''
